OUR INSPIRATION - ABOUT US

Hello and welcome!

My name is Jenny and I'm the owner/operator of Arrows Boutique here in Liberty, Indiana! If you would have told me that I would own a boutique of my own one day, I never would have believed it! But life has a way of surprising us like that!

Since moving here after meeting my husband, getting married, and having our herd of kids....I’ve really fallen in love with our little town of Liberty. The town, people, and overall community feel I get anytime I’m here is just tremendous. Coming into this town as an ‘outsider’, not knowing many people...I’ve come to develop some of the greatest friendships I am forever thankful for! Getting to know this community, I found an even greater sense of knowing where I wanted to raise our children. The ‘togetherness’ I have felt here, and seeing many times how our town pulls together for others...is exactly where I want my family to be. I soon began to feel a desire to help support our community and all the small businesses within it. I noticed the storefront across from the court house was up for sale and the fact that my mother actually runs a boutique in Ohio, the thought just came natural that maybe I could offer something similar. So I made the decision to step WAY outside of my personal comfort zone, take a leap of faith, and open a small clothing boutique!

My husband, John, has been my biggest supporter. When I came to him with my idea, he never once hesitated. He is the hardest working man I know and he has made it possible for me to stay home and raise our seven kids. If you visit the store in person, you'll likely meet some of my littles. They're regularly helping in some way.

I thought about a name/design for a long time. I chose "Arrows Boutique" because it means so much to me. (Peek the 6 arrows in my logo.) Psalm 127: 3-5.

It's funny that when I made my post on Facebook back at the beginning of my adventure in June, I actually did say "While I am NOT planning for more kids....I don’t know God’s plan...but surely there’s room for more arrows." So there will be a slight logo edit in the future!

I was (and still am) so excited to share my business venture with all of you and I'm proud to be able to help support our community!

Soft opening was June 25th
